Static QR Code

Static QR Codes are ideal for receiving multiple payments through the same QR Code. They do not have states, expiration times, or the option to define a payer. While a value can be set for the Static QR Code, it is not mandatory. If no value is set, the person making the payment must enter the desired amount.

Characteristics

Optional Value: A Static QR Code can have a predefined value, but this is not required. If no amount is defined, the payer will need to enter the amount they wish to pay.

No Expiration: Static QR Codes do not have an expiration time, making them permanent and reusable.

No Payer Definition: It is not possible to define a specific payer for a Static QR Code.

Reusability: Static QR Codes can be used multiple times for different transactions, making them ideal for environments where the same code is needed for various payments.

Use Cases

Flexible Payments: Static QR Codes allow you to receive multiple payments through the same QR Code. This feature is perfect for use during live events, physical locations, and other settings where multiple transactions might occur.

Lifecycle

Static QR Codes do not have a lifecycle like Dynamic QR Codes. They remain valid indefinitely and do not transition through different states.
